However, in the year since then I have to say in what started to be a site dedicated to writing about simple topics such as product reviews is slowly turning out to be a community of people asking me where are these products located at, especially some of the wedding dresses, wedding gowns and wedding rings presented in the site. To be honest with you all, we do know but even if we pointed you out to the original source of these items, chances are it has been discontinued or it’s not on sale anymore…

Anyway, we will try to get back to everyone who sent us an email whenever we can however for the meantime I just want to thank everybody for continue to visit, read, and support the site in it’s shape or form. In a world full of Goliath’s in the wedding planning space, we are the David’s simply trying to make it through to another day. Thank again!

What inspired you to start your company?

If you’re planning a wedding, spend accordingly.  Everything is pretty much possible even within a budget.  Also, personalizing your wedding doesn’t mean spending lots of money.  It just means placing special touches that convey who you and you’re fiancee are.

Making couples happy!  Knowing that when they look back at their wedding day, everything went exacty like they wanted it to go.

So many!  My top three would have to be Weddingbee, Snippet and Ink, and 100 Layer Cake.  I have a long blog roll on my blog, check it out!

Today’s Aisle Accent is the abundance of floral initials we’ve been coming across on the various wedding blogs lately.  I love these initials as they are a subtle way to add to the decor of the event.  They can be place at the foot the the aisle, on entrance doors, on archways, etc…they’re very versatile.  We’ve also been thinking about adding them to our product line (made from silk flowers).  Leave us a comment, would you buy them and what would you pay for them??

The parasol we sent…

I got a lovely email today from Candy over at Carrie & Danielle Inc. (you know you’ve made it when there’s an ‘Inc.’ following your name!) giving me a heads up that the lovely ladies have a fresh new look for their website, carrieanddanielle.com:

I just had to mention it because Candy took the time to personalize her email to me, going as far as referencing the Nine West shoes I was talking about recently. As Communications is my day job, I know how much time and effort it takes to do that. So kudos to you, Candy, for being authentic.

Speaking of authentic, I still think that when it comes to deciding your wedding style, you really have to first know thyself. There is so much wedding inspiration out there that it can be quite overwhelming. However, if you know who you are and what your own Style Statement is, making all those decisions won’t be that difficult. The bonus? The wedding will be a true extension of your and your groom’s personal styles – and that is what will make it special and memorable.

I’ve actually been meaning to find the time to sit down and work out my own Style Statement for awhile now. One more thing to add to the ‘To Do After the Wedding’ list.
